Emanuel grew up outside of Philadelphia and moved to Colorado in 2014. He joined East Grand Fire as a volunteer in 2015 and is still a current and active member. Between 2016 and 2020 he worked as a wildland firefighter in Colorado and Idaho for the Forest Service before joining the Division of Fire Prevention & Control (DFPC) on a wildfire Module. In the spring of 2022, he joined Grand Fire Protection District No.1 to work with the wildland crew on the department. When he’s not volunteering at East Grand Fire in his free time, he’s out with his dog or working on various projects at his home.
