Grand Fire Protection District No. 1 is excited to introduce you to our Resident Firefighters. The primary intent of the Resident Program is to increase resources to meet the growing needs of the Fire District and to provide positive experiences, opportunities and training to young people interested in pursuing a career in the fire service. Resident Firefighters respond to a variety of calls including rescues, structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, and wildland fires.
Grand Fire Protection District No.1 is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Grand Fire Protection District No.1
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
