Grand Fire Protection District #1 has received a COSWAP grant to support wildfire mitigation efforts in the Winter Park Highlands and Granby Ranch areas. Through this program, we aim to complete approximately 400 acres of mitigation work between now and Spring 2028.

Homeowners are encouraged to complete the interest form to help us identify priority areas and group neighboring properties together in order to apply the most effective mitigation treatments possible. Please note that submitting the form does not guarantee mitigation work will occur on your property, but it does help us plan and coordinate treatment efforts across the community.

Together, these efforts will help reduce wildfire risk, improve forest health, and strengthen community resilience.
