The GFPD Headquarters Fire Station was built during 2005-2006 and contains over 24,000 square feet in administrative offices, a large training/meeting room, a day room, a diner and apparatus bays. Additional improvements include a three-story training tower with burn annex and an eight-unit resident firefighter apartment building that includes a guest apartment for visiting instructors or firefighter families.
